Snowman Applique Topper:   This precious appliqued and quilted
     topper is perfect to decorate your child's bed for Christmas
     as it covers only the pillow section of the bed.  It's so much
     quicker than a full-sized quilt, yet gives much the same effect.
     The class covers cutting out and beginning to applique the
     topper, with demonstration and discussion on finishing 
     techniques.  Applique experience is a pre-requisite.  Ask for

Christmas Aprons:   Aprons add such a festive touch at the
     Christmas season and also make a wonderful gift for a special
     friend.  Choose from among several apron patterns and many
     Christmas fabrics, and we'll help you design and construct
     that special apron.  This is a sit-and-sew style class - lots

"Woodland Holiday" Table/Bed Runner:   Moda Fabrics has
     designed a striking table runner or bed runner using their
     "Woodland Holiday" fabric collection.  We will cut out your
     choice of table runner or bed runner in class and complete
     the construction of one block.  We'll talk about completion
     of the project, with hints on quilting.  Pattern is included 
     free with the class!  Ask for supply list.   $30

Christmas "Card Trick" Quilt:   This Christmas quilt is much
     easier than it looks - only one block pattern is used!  We've
     done the shop sample in the gorgeous "12 Days of Christmas"
     fabric collection from Moda in a throw-sized quilt.  We'll
     cut out the quilt and piece several blocks in class with tips
     for easy piecing.  Ask for supply list.   $30

Christmas Placemats and Napkins:   Placemats are such a quick
     way to decorate your tables for Christmas --- and we can do
     them even cuter than those available in the stores!  Join us
     as we piece a wonderful placemat and make a matching

Doll Clothes Wardrobe:   Doll clothes are such fun to make - 
     and very quick, too!  We'll be making several items to fit an

Valerie's Quilt:   A friend showed us this quilt right before
     Christmas last year, and we just had to make it!  It's a throw-
     sized quilt done in bright Christmas fabrics from Michael
     Miller using an easy block pattern.  Easy enough for a 
     beginner, but really striking in appearance --- this one's a
     winner!  Ask for supply list.   $30

Christmas Tree Wall Hanging:   What a gorgeous wall hanging to
     bring in the Christmas season!  The tree is pieced in your
     choice of Christmas fabrics - from modern to traditional - 
     and could be decorated if you'd really like to get creative.
     The basic tree could be completed in one day - but it's 
     July - we have plenty of time!  Ask for supply list.   $30

Fun-Time Hairbows:   Learn to make your own hairbows to
     compliment those cute little outfits you make for your
     girls.  We'll make a basic bow, then add details to spice

     and stitching of an applique pattern, as well as pointers on

"Birdie Sling":   What a wonderful bag Amy Butler has
     created!  Join us as we stitch up this extra large, carry-
     all sling.  This is a good pattern for beginners with a
     little sewing experience - looks great in the new Amy

Beginning Smocking, Part 1:   Learn 2 basic stitches of geometric
     smocking with extra tips to help in construction.  Kit and

Basic Construction:   This is a beginning sewing class using an easy
     pattern to complete a simple A-line or a john-john.  You must

All About Trims:   Simple trims can add so much life to a basic
     garment!  We'll explore various ways to use rick rack, piping,
     buttons and other trims in construction and embellishment
     for fun effects.  This is a demonstration class, so bring a

"Amy" Sundress:   This is a really cute Children's Corner
     sundress/jumper which is smocked front and back.  The
     construction is easy, so it's another great "second project"
     for beginning sewers and smockers.  Lots of fun!  Ask for

Pillow Case for Beginners:   This class is specially for those
     who have never used a sewing machine!  We'll learn the
     very basic techniques of sewing while making a really cute
     pillow case.  Machines will be provided or you may use

Heirloom Embroidery:   Exquisite heirloom embroidery begins
     with just a few basic stitches.  Learn stem stitch, lazy daisy,
     french knots, feather stitch and others.  Kit provided.   $25

Quilt for Baby:   Together we'll make this bright baby quilt
     while learning the basics of quilt construction - from
     choosing appropriate fabrics and colors to the finishing
     touches.  This would make such a special gift for a new baby
     and can be completed quickly within our busy schedules.

"Sassy Skirt":   This is a really cute and easy skirt, but there 
     seems to be some confusion about the lining.  Join us as we
     take the mystery out and construct this precious skirt!
     Skirts are so popular now - and even the older girls really

Bullion Roses:   Learn the basic bullion stitch and then discover
     how to use this stitch to make a variety of heirloom roses.
     You must already have a basic knowledge of embroidery.

Perfect Peter-Pan Collars:   Learn the techniques & proper 
     methods for making these sweet little collars.  We will make
     a simple piped collar in class.  Other edgings and finishes will

School Tree Wall Hanging:   What a fun pieced wall hanging to
     make for your favorite football fan!  During class we'll make
     a reusable pattern for our tree, piece the face of the wall
     hanging, and discuss finishing our project.  Strips will be
     available for Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, and Georgia Tech.

Picture Smocking:   This class will enable you to stitch those
     darling designs that make your children's outfits so unique.
     Basic stitches are covered as well as construction tips to aid
     in garment completion.  You need to be comfortable with
     geometric smocking before beginning this class.  Kit

Bishop Construction:   This fun and easy class will teach you how
     to construct a simple bishop dress from start to finish.  It
     includes instruction on making a smooth bias neckband and an
     even back placket.  Prior knowledge of smocking is required.
     This is a two-part class.  Ask for supply list.   $45

Super-Easy Bishop Placket:   This is a really quick and easy
     placket which requires no separate placket strip.  It was
     developed by Susan Morrison of "Olde Sew 'N So" in
     Atlanta and saves much time and effort.  Materials provided
     (bring pins).   $15

Shadow Embroidery by Hand:  One easy stitch is used to create
     an outlined shadow effect on sheer fabric.  This makes
     precious figures on children's garments or elegant bows and
     flowers on more formal items.  Really easy!!  Kit provided.

Heirloom Technique Dress:   We will construct the yoke and
     the fancy band for a delicate dress as we learn several
     heirloom sewing techniques.  The techniques are many of the
     most often used in heirloom sewing.  Ask for supply list. $35
