These garments were featured in the January/February 2006
issue of Creative Needle magazine.

 
"Flower Garden Callie" was designed and constructed
by Carol Murray.

 


 
Carol Murray's "Flower Garden Callie" is as sweet
as it is easy to make!

The pattern is "Callie" from the Children's Corner. 
The basic fabric is Spechler-Vogel's Pretty Baby Pique in white
trimmed with their pima check in light blue and Stylecrest's
pima check in soft lime.  Rick rack is from Farmhouse Fabrics.

The tulip applique is done in pastel piques and continues
on the back of the dress.
 
   

 

  


The primary version is equally as cute!!

Again the basic fabric is the Pretty Baby Pique.  Now the
trims are Spechler-Vogel's pima check in royal and lime
with Trimtex's rick rack edging.

The primary-colored broadcloth flowers use
bright yellow buttons as centers.

Such a happy little dress!
