May '09 Inspirations
Carol has made up the new
Children's Corner pattern,
"Sophie," in her trademark
fresh, crisp style.  The fabric
is a wonderful cotton print
from Nashville Cotton Company;
it's called "Green Ivy."

An inverted pleat falls from
the tucked bodice, and a 
curved yoke accents the
shoulder line.

 
   

 

 


Here's a close-up look at the bodice.  The folded tucks
are stitched into place before the curved yoke is added.
(Don't you just love the gorgeous shade of green
in the fabric!  It's even more beautiful "in person.")
 

 
The back of the dress
features a tailored little
belt at the waistline.
The dress buttons all the
way down the back.
