Jan made this sweet
"Frannie's Big Sister" for
her granddaughter in the pink
version of the Nashville
Cottons "Ivy."  The
"Pink Ivy" is every bit as
beautiful as the green.
This fabric has just enough body 
to hang well in the dresses
without being overly heavy.
 
   

 

 


A close-up view of the bodice shows the detail of
the curved yoke, which Jan has accented with 
solid pink piping.  The one-color smocking adds
interest without overpowering the dress.
Piping also accents the little peter-pan collar and
the arm edges.
 

 
The curved yoke is
repeated on the back
of the dress.

This pattern is in
limited supply, but we'll
keep it in stock as long as
it's available
(sizes 5 to 8 only).
