What a cute play outfit for
a little boy (or could it
 be done for a little girl?) !!

Jan began with the john-john
pattern from Martha Pullen's
Applique Book. She extended
the leg seams to a length
appropriate for the romper
size, tapering the inner leg
width toward the hem.

The fabric is a navy chambray
from Spechler-Vogel lined
with their red pima check.
(Creative Needle's "Easy
Sunsuit" shirt was also done
in the red pima check.) 

The romper lining makes cute
cuffs when it is turned back
and also helps to adjust
the leg length!
