Jan
did this precious rendition
of the "Donald" pattern from
Maja's Heirlooms in
Robert Kaufman's indigo
denim. She has added a
lining in Nashville Cotton's
"Harpeth Hall" cotton
tri-check, which has also
been used for the piping.
The cute baby
turtle
appliques are from Ellen
McCarn's ready-to-stitch. |

Here is a back
view of the
outfit showing the lined
hood. Jan always likes to
add interest on the back
of her garments as we see
here with the appliqued
turtle. We often forget that
our children are seen from
the back as well as from
the front!

This
is the cute "Donald"
romper, also in the Kaufman
denim piped with the tri-check.
The piping really accents the
pockets. My grandchildren
love anything that has
pockets; they quickly fill
them with all sorts of
surprises!! |
