Here's another great idea
for the Children's Corner
"Libby" pattern!

We've pieced together
strips of various plaids,
then cut out the yokes with
the plaid strips at an angle.

The skirt is done in a
mid-weight chambray
from Spechler-Vogel.

 
     
     

Each plaid strip is cut 2  1/2" wide and stitched together
with a 1/4" seam so that each finished strip is 2" wide.
 
 
We've made a matching
jacket from Bonnie Blue's
"Jillian" jacket.

The jacket hemline, as well
as the sleeve hemlines, are
trimmed with the bias plaids.
The under collar and the
jacket lining are a solid
plaid, and the collar is
piped with the plaid.

Great combination!
